  • HACLA Section 8 - Homeless Incentive Program (HIP)

    The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) is currently in search of property owners who are interested in listing their 0, 1, or 2 bedroom vacant units through the Housing Incentive Program (HIP). HIP at HACLA provides move-in assistance (security deposit, furnishing, utility deposit) to newly admitted HIP-eligible voucher holders. Owners can receive an incentive payment for listing with HIP. Learn how property owners can take advantage of these benefits and more through HIP while helping in the effort to end homelessness.

    Los Angeles City Planning reviews project applications, processing entitlements, and approvals to ensure that future decisions about development are aligned with the City’s land use policies and proposed land use regulations.   • Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority

    LAHSA is the lead agency in the Los Angeles Continuum of Care, which is the regional planning body that coordinates housing and services for homeless families and individuals in Los Angeles County. LAHSA coordinates and manages over $800 million annually in federal, state, county, and city funds for programs that provide shelter, housing, and services to people experiencing homelessness.

    Our Community Relations Unit will be at the "table" to share information about LAHSA and the Annual Homeless Count happening in January.

  • Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment (LASAN)

    Please visit our virtual booth to learn more about the curbside organics collection program and to ask any sanitation-related questions. As the lead agency for the City’s environmental programs and initiatives, Sanitation protects public health and the environment through the administration and management of three program areas: Clean Water (Wastewater), Solid Resources (Solid Waste Management) and Watershed Protection (Stormwater). These infrastructure programs collect, treat, dispose and recycle the solid and liquid waste generated by the nation’s second largest city of more than four million residents.     The 311 Call Center mission is to connect people to City services and information, quickly and easily, via a communication channel of their choice. We provide general City information to citizens, local businesses, and visitors as well as perform Service Requests intake on behalf of City Departments. The 311 Call Center provides various options to connect to a wide variety of non-emergency City services and general City information.

  • Neighborhood Team Program (NTP)

    Created by Community Emergency Response Team Coordinators, the Neighborhood Team Program bridges key Disaster Response Programs (CERT, Ready Your LA Neighborhood/RYLAN, and Neighborhood Watch) to develop a comprehensive but turnkey system you can implement in your own Neighborhood.

    When you start a Neighborhood Team, we bring the resources and experience so that you don't have to re-invent the wheel and we build the Team around you and other leaders in your area.
